The Creek Fire

Creek Fire Update.

The Creek Fire is the largest single fire incident in California history covering over 360,000 acres burned, with containment expected by mid-October. There have been over 500 residences destroyed and 18 commercial properties damaged beyond repair, not to mention the unknown impact to wildlife, and the forest. Sadly, this region has had the most significant bark beetle tree mortality in California.

The Resiliency Fund will support Creek Fire recovery efforts in communities within the vicinity of Fresno County’s Central Sierra region including, but not limited to, Huntington Lake, Lakeshore, Big Creek, Shaver Lake, Pine Ridge, Meadow Lakes, Alder Springs, and Auberry.
