John Muir

To be a mountaineer one must be made of self-reliance, possess an uncompromising love of nature and embrace an unambiguous understanding that it is our responsibility to take care of the Earth. As John Muir walked the hills he demonstrated the qualities of a mountaineer and embraced an inalienable dedication to the studies of these mountains. It was of the latter that he wrote to his sister Sarah saying “The mountains are calling and I must go.”
On June 28, 2018 join us for an intimate performance by local historian Marvin Kientz as he becomes John Muir. Space is extremely limited for this theatrical conversation! Call or come in now to book your seating.
